2007 Tannerie Wood Block Party

Held Tuesday, July 17, 2007

On Tuesday, July 17, 2007, we held our Fourth Annual Tannerie Wood Block Party.  We had a great turnout and everyone was in a partying mood.  Although Skeeter the Clown was not able to make his usual appearance, he sent an able replacement in Green Bean, who entertained the children with balloonery and washable tattoos.

Thanks to all who helped make the party a success.  In particular:  Kudos once again to Nancy Bunch, our Recording Secretary, for organizing the party and buying the drinks, chips and other items contributed by the Association.  A big thanks goes to Tom Garvey for again donating the hamburgers and hotdogs!  And thanks to all who brought salads and desserts, to Larry Keeley and Dane Bernard, who kindly lent their gas grills, and to Jim Fields, who made sure that everyone wore a name tag!  A huge thanks goes out to our grillmeisters, who toiled over searing flames on a hot day:  Jord Lavin, Larry Keeley, Nancy Bunch, and Tom Garvey.  The food was delicious!
